Edward Dorr Tracy letters, 1861-1863 [manuscript].

Letters of Confederate Brigadier Gen. Tracy of Huntsville, Ala., to his wife and friends, chiefly from northern Virginia in 1861, with a few items from Tennessee in 1862 and the Vicksburg campaign of 1863. A few letters relate to military engagements; most deal with the health and spirits of his troops, camp life, requests for clothes, and messages to family members.
